Signs agreement with UAE Exchange
Hyderabad, June 21, 2007The State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has signed an agreement with UAE Exchange to offer Money Gram International Money Transfer service to officer transfer of money within minutes. The UAE Exchange and Financial Services will introduce the Foreign Inward Money Remittance Product 'MoneyGram' through the 250 designated branches of SBH from July 16. This service is available to SBH customers, non customers and foreign tourists.
The SBH Chief General Manager RP Singh speaking to media said on Thursday that to receive money via MoneyGram in India the receiver generally walks into a MoneyGram agent location, complete a simple receive form and show photo identification to receive funds in as little as ten minutes. Now, the same service can be availed at designated SBH branches in the State. The service will only add value to their services and widen the array of services that the bank offers.
UAE Exchange representative Sudhakar and MoneyGram representative Gautam said that MoneyGram was a leading global payment services company with over 92,000 locations in 170 countries. They said that reaching out to their customers was very important. They said that they are offering competitive pricing and exchange rate for India.
