More details on the quake awaited
Prakasam, June 19, 2007
People of the Addanki mandal, near Ongole of Prakasam district reported experiencing a mild tremor of earthquake on the Tuesday night at about 8:40 PM. Initial reports say the quake was active for about 2 seconds. Utensils and household items fell down as people began coming out of their homes when the earthquake hit them.
No causalities or major post-quake damage is yet reported. More details, including the intensity of the quake, are awaited.
