No compromise on repatriation of non locals in GO 610 implementation

KCR says employees are unwilling to level their zone

Hyderabad, June 13, 2007

The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president K Keshava Rao said that there is no comprise on repatriating non locals who fail to join duties in the zones to which which they have been transferred. As part of efforts to implement the GO in letter and spirit, the Government has given an opportunity to non local staff incorporating provisions that give priority to those volunteering to seek transfers.

He said if the employees are still unwilling to level their zones, they will be doing so risking heir jobs. He said that supernumerary posts that are proposed to be created are meant for Telangana people and not others.

Speaking to media, he clarified that the GO deals with the policy while the GO 399 enables its implementation and charged the TRS for politicization to gain political mileage out of the latest order. He dismissed the allegation of Congress MLA P Janardhana Reddy's demand for a joint meeting of three committees constituted on GO 610 as the House panel was constituted on the GO is only an advisory body without any executive powers.
