Reviews road connectivity works
Hyderabad, June 13, 2007At a review meeting on the road connectivity works, the Chief Minister concerned over the delay in executing the PV Narasimha Rao Express corridor connecting the upcoming International Airport at Shamshabad an the city. He ordered the concerned officials to expedite the project an be completed by March next.
Reviewing the road connectivity works, the Chief Minister suggested the 5.1 km long stretch of expressway from Sarojinidevi Hospital to Hyderabad should be completed by March next. Besides, he Kandi-Chevella bypass road would be improved at a cost of Rs. 30 crore by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority, Roads and Buildings Minister T Jeevan Reddy said to the media.
The Outer Ring Road Phase I work from Gachibowli to Shamshabad will be completed by March 2008 while the Phase II will commence in August this year. The police officials urged the Chief Minister to direct the Municipal Authorities to give permissions for malls on Road No.1, Banjara Hills as the road is already choked.
