Police recovers Rs. 80,000 from the kidnappers
Hyderabad, June 12, 2007He might be a film producer. But Durgaprasad has witnessed few incidents in real life that are close to the reel life. His son, Sudhir, aged 18 was kidnapped by a gang few days who demanded a ransom of Rs. 10 crores. The film Producer, continuing talks with the gang, also took the help of the Special Operations Team who immediately began monitoring telephone calls. Meanwhile, the police arrested the film Producer's manager Rambabu who confessed and gave the exact location where the kidnappers has hid.
The police immediately raided a house in Jeedimetla and resuced Sudhir and have arrested eight persons. B Srinivas Babu, a real estate agent is believed to be the master mind behing the kidnapping. The arrested confessed that they took the help of a police constable who was also arrested. Another Reserve Police Inspector and two other constables too were believed to have helped indirectly in the kidnapping.
