Stresses Public-Private participation in health care sector
Hyderabad, June 12, 2007
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy launched the Apollo Health City at a program held at the Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad. Apollo Group of Hospitals Chairman Prathap C Reddy was present at the occasion. Addressing that gathering, the Chief Minister stressed the need for public-private participation in the health care sector. He gave a glimpse of the programs and initiatives taken up by the Government and appreciated the contributions of the hospital in providing better treatment to its patients.
The Apollo Health City will come up in a 33 acres areas and will have 50 specialities and super specialities apart from 10 Centres of Excellence. Ministers J Geeta Reddy, S Chandrasekhar and G Aruna Kumari were present at the program.
