2006 voters list to be taken in account
Vijayawada, June 10, 2007The Joint Collector, S Suresh Kumar has issued fresh guidelines to the teams constituted to identify the beneficiaries of pensions under Indiramma Scheme. He asked the officials to take into account only the age of the beneficiaries mentioned in the white ration cards or the age mentioned in the 2006 voters' list.
The same guidelines will be applicable to the widows who applied for the pensions and said that even the persons with 40 percent handicap are eligible for the pensions and they will have to produce a certificate issued by the authorized medical board.
He further added that a special medical camp would be organize at all government hospitals in the district on June 14 to issue medical certificates to the handicapped. The beneficiaries should produce the original certificates to the visiting teams and that of duplicate and xerox copies of certificates will not be accepted he said.
