Police Investigation into the case begins
Vijayawada, July 5, 2007A women is found murdered in the Sri Bhavani Lodge in Vijayawada. A couple from Warangal checked-in to the hotel and went for the darshan at the Vijayawada Temple on July 4. The room was booked on the name of P Srinivasa Rao. Later, after a day, there was no activity in the room. Since the room advance was given only for a day, the Lodge management felt suspicious and informed the police.
After the room door was broke open, the women was found dead in the bathroom. Primary evidence shows that she might be murdered by dipping her head in the water. The police began investigation into the case. The cell phone number as well as the address provided by the man who checked-in to the hotel were found to be wrong.
Murder in hotel room have been on the raise in Vijayawada. Only three months ago, Lakshmi Sujatha, a television channel news reader was murdered in a Vijayawada hotel.
