To interact with the elected representatives

The polling for election of President of India will be held on July 19. Pratibha Patil, the presidential candidate of the United Progressive Front and the Left parties will be coming on Friday to meet the Congress MPs and MLAs from the State to shore up support for her candidature. It is learnt that she would interact with the elected representatives at Jubilee Hall.
AICC general secretary and State Congress Affairs in charge Digvijay Singh and AICC secretary Iqbal Singh arrived in the city to participate in the meeting. According to reliable sources, Digvijay Singh may in all likely to meet the TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao to have his party men cast their vote in favour of Pratibha Patil.
Meanwhile, the APCC president K Keshavara Rao has appealed to all political parties to voe for Pratibha Patil stating that it is voe for secularism and empowerment of women. Speaking to media, he said that he would also urge TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu also in this regard.
