Submits memorandum seeking criminal cases against police officials
Hyderabad, July 30, 2007The Left parties including Telugu Desam Party, Telangana Rashtra Samithi met the Governor Rameshwar Thakur on Monday submitted a memorandum urging him to order the government to file criminal cases against the concerned police personnel responsible for police firing in Mudigonda leading to the death of six persons and many injured. In the memorandum, they also urged him to direct the government to order an inquiry by a sitting High Court Judge in the unfortunate incident.
CPI (M) State secretary BV Raghavulu, CPI State secretary K Narayana, senior TDP leader T Devender Goud and others submitted a memorandum to the Governor at the Raj Bhavan and explain the situation that led to the police firing which is unwanted.
The delegation requested the Government to stop repressive measures forthwith and lift the cases foisted against the agitating people. They also demanded that the injured admitted in various hospitals should be given better medical care under the supervision of experts.
