Hyderabad, July 25, 2007

G Kutuhalamma on Wednesday took charge as the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and she was welcomed by Speaker KR Suresh Reddy. Soon after the question hour, the Speaker asked her to take the charge by occupying the Chair.

Nearly 27 members including the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy, TDP Deputy Leader in the Assembly T Devender Goud, TRS floor leader G Vijayarama Rao, BJP floor leader G Kishan Reddy and others praised her services as an MLA and as minister.

Several women MLAs requested her to give due priority to them to represent their respective constituency problems in the House.
