Prisoner escapes when bringing to jail
Hyderabad, July 21, 2007
An under trial prisoner lodged in Cherlapally central prison, B Srinivasa escaped from the police custody while being brought to the jail in the Kushaiguda police limits on Saturday.
According to police, he is a native of Ranga Reddy district and was arrested on the charges of lorry theft three months ago by the Vikarabad police.
Since then, he had been lodged in the Cherlapally prison. He escaped at the ECIL crossroads while being brought from the Tandur police Station. The police are on the job of nabbing the escaped prisoner.
