Officials of ACB unearthed assets over Rs. 80 lakh in Viziangaram and Visakhapatnam
Hyderabad, July 21, 2007
The officials of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) unearthed disproportionate assets worth over Rs. 80 lakhs belonging to MP Jagannadhadarao, Town Planning building inspector in Guntur Municipality.
Simultaneous searches conducted at the houses of the accused officer revealed that he owned six plots at Parvathipuram in Viziangaram district, one kilo of gold, fixed deposits worth over Rs. 5 lakhs in addition to Rs. 3.5 lakh cash and other investments.
The accused officer will be produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases in Visakhapatnam.
