Continues its Bhu poratam struggle
Hyderabad, July 1, 2007
The Communist Party of India State council has demanded that the Government should come up with a specific agenda on land related issues during the Left Parties' meeting with Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao that is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
The Minister should clarify the Government's stand on the constitution of an independent land commission besides making an announcement on the time bound action plan for resolving the impasse over land and house site distribution.
The CPI has warned the Government to intensify the agitation by taking up transplantation of seed in the lands occupied by the party as part of the land struggle.
