IT growth depends on HR and infrastructure
Hyderabad, January 9, 2007The Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy has inaugurated a three-day annual IT trade show and exhibition organized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Speaking on the occasion, NASSCOM President and Chairman of Satyam Computer Services Limited B. Ramalinga Raju said that there should be more focus on infrastructure, a proactive government approach and the issue of human resources for the long-term growth of Indian IT and ITes Industry.
He said that over two thirds of global GDP now comes from the services sector and this itself will offer huge prospects for our IT and ITes Sectors. He further added that only fifteen percent graduates are being used for global service delivery and this should be improved drastically.
As a part of the event, conference tracks by NASSCOM on animation and gaming, telecom and broadband by CII will be organized among others.
