Event to showcase cutting edge IT capabilities

Hyderabad, January 8, 2007

The Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) will be organizing a global networking event Indiasoft-2007 at Hitex International Exhibition Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday. It will display the country’s cutting edge IT capabilities and outsourcing strengths to the global IT and business establishments.

The event is sponsored by the Ministries of Communication and Information Technology and Commerce and Industry in association with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, is a unique business-to-business partnering forum.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, ESC Chairman Nalin Kohli said that Indiasoft being organized for the last six years was already popular as an annual event with global IT and ITES companies owing to the country’s brand equity. He hoped that the government of India would come up with a hardware policy in the budget.
