Prof. Rao says regulatory body will check fly-by-night operators

The Institute of Charted Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) University has welcomed the Government decision to introduce a bill for establishing private universities in the State. Speaking to media on Sunday, V. Panduranga Rao, Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University said that needed atleast ten times the existing seats in professional courses and it was possible only with the participation of private universities.
Prof. Rao ruled out an influx of players if the bill was passed since the Government would have stringent norms on the security deposit and investment to be made for creating infrastructure. The Government had announced setting up of a regulatory body and this would check the fly-by-night operators.
