Hyderabad, January 28, 2007Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) members held discussions with the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president K. Keshava Rao and Panchayat Raj Minister JC Diwakar Reddy on the long pending demands but no decision was arrived on the most important one concerning honorarium to the MPTC members.
After the meeting ended the APCC president Keshava Rao and Diwakar Reddy said that one of the MPTC members were asked to attend another meeting on January 30 in the presence of the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy and Finance Minister, K. Rosaiah to finalize the matter.
MPTC Members’ Association president Babu Rajendra Prasad told to media that the members of the Association would meet again to deliberate upon their response to the solutions mooted out by the Government.
