State policemen to get President medals on Republic Day eve

APSRTC MD, Adtl DGPs amongst others to get medals

On the eve of Republic Day 2007, twenty-two policemen from the State were among the winners of the President’s police medals for distinguished and meritorious service announced. Among them, The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Managing Director V Dinesh Reddy, Additional DGP and Director of Police Communications SK Jayachandra, Additional DGP, Human Rights, Lokendra Sharma, Additional DGP, AP Special Police, A Siva Narayana and Additional SP (counter intelligence) V Rudra Kumar for were selected for President’s Police medal for distinguished service.

Indian Police Medal for meritorious service medal winners are DIGs Govind Singh (Visakhapatnam), Anjani Kumar of Nizamabad, Ravi Gupta from Warangal Rajashikhamani from Home Guards Department, Malakpet ACP Suhas Chaturvedi, DSP (APFSL) U Rama Mohan, Intelligence Inspector G Mallaiah, Vigilance and Enforcement Inspector of Kurnool S Jawaharbasha.

Kurnool Town Circe Inspector Ch Rajasekhara Reddy, ARIs R Bhima Rao, N Kota Reddy, KA Bari, Sh.Mahaboob Basha, Head Constable J Malgonda, JR Babu, Md.Qutbuddin, and constable BRD Rao were among the medal winners.
