Vijayawada, January 19, 2007

It may be recalled that two dreaded criminals Yesu and Rama Rao who escaped from the Nuzvid sub jail recently who were responsible for reprisal killing in Rudrakshapalli village. The police arrested Yesu on Friday afternoon and produced before the Nuzvid Junior Civil Judge. The judge ordered him in remand till February 2 and shifted to Rajahmundry Central Jail amidst tight security.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police G. Narayana Swamy, Yesu was picked up from Godown Road at Jangareddygudem late in the last night and was brought to Jangareddygudem police station. He was caught by a constable who got suspicious while he was trying to board a lorry.

After their escape, they spend some days and parted their ways. While Rama Rao is reported to be in Khammam district. The Police are on the hunt for Rama Rao.
