To attend Golden Jubilee celebrations of the College

The President of India APJ Abdul Kalam will interact with nearly 20 students of the Kurnool Medical College (KMC) on January 20 during his visit to participate in the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the College. He will also release the college souvenir on this occasion. The college management has arranged a separate venue to accommodate 500 students for the function.
The Kurnool Medical College was established in 1957 has both the college and hospital on the same campus. The Kurnool Medical College offers 29 courses including all clinical and non-clinical said the KMC principal KN Sudha Ramana. The college has 150 seats at the graduate level and 84 at postgraduate level.
He said among the old students of the college are MPs, MV Mysoora Reddy, Midiam Babu Rao of Bhadrchalam, MLAs Sailajanath, DL Ravindra Reddy and senior IAS officer Sekhar and Additional DGP D. Naik.
