Two constables dismissed from service

The Superintendent of Police B. Malla Reddy said on Saturday that two constables who allegedly abetted immoral trafficking were dismissed from service. The SP said that the constables also face criminal charges under the provisions of immoral trafficking. Six persons who were allegedly involved in a gang rape of 17-year-old girl were arrested.
The main accused Basha, who acted as pimp and Sudharani who ran a brother at Nandyal were also arrested. Search is on for Vijayalakshmi, another brother keeper at Kurnool.
The SP said that the police would take up investigation beyond the boundaries of Kurnool district. He rewarded two constables Mirza Ahmed and Chinnppa of rural police station for rescuing the girl.
