Vijaya Shanti says separate Telangana is the solution

Thalli Telangana Party president Vijaya Shanti charged the government with the failure in solving the acute fluorosis problem that has crippled lakhs of people in Nalgonda district. Speaking at a public meeting on Thursday, she said that Telangana was the only solution for the problems being confronted by people of this backward region. She said that she would personally meet the Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy and request him to find a permanent solution for the problem.
She further added that if the government does not heed her demand, she would continue the agitation till safe drinking water is supplied to these fluorosis victims. She interacted with the effected victims and offered her sympathies. She gave away Rs. 1,000 each to three victims.
