Hyderabad, February 4, 2007Film star Vijayashanti said at a press conference on Sunday said that the Talli Telangana Party led by her would contest in the next coming General Elections in 2009. She said contesting elections was very much on the agenda of Talli Telangana Party and except her, others are welcome to contest.
She added that the party would formally launched after she undertook a tour of Telangana districts. The action plan and structure of the party would be announced at the time of the launch. In the run up to the inception of the party, she said the membership would be open on February 9.
