Seven-member team to study drought in the State
Hyderabad, February 4, 2007
An inter ministerial seven member Central team led by AK Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Agriculture will study drought in the State. It will hold initial meetings with officials of various departments on Tuesday.
According to an official release, the first team will undertake a field visit to Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar districts on February 7 and 8 respectively. The second team will go around Anantapur district on February 7 and Chittoor district in the next day.
The team will have a wrap-up session with officials and with the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy on February 9 and leave for New Delhi on the next day.
