Notification issued for Council Poll

Polling will be held on March 22

The Governor on Wednesday issued notification for the election for 31 members in the State Legislative Council to be elected by MLAs.

With the issuance of notification, the Election Commission of India (ECI) issued the election schedule according to which, the polling will be held between 9am to 4pm on March 22 and counting of votes will be taken up at 5pm on the same day.
