The Hyderabad police today arrested two persons and seized fake currency worth over Rs.36 lakhs. The arrested persons are Mohammed Shoukat Ali of Maida district in West Bengal and KV Satyanaryana Reddy of East Godavari district in the Andhra Pradesh.

Hyderabad, February 27, 2007

The officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation arrested A. Ravindra, Area Manage, Food Corporation of India, Nizamabad while he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 50,000 according to a press release on Tuesday.

A case has been registered against him under section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act was registered against him.
