Anantapur, February 25, 2007A devotee of Sri Satya Sai Baba was found dead on Prashanti Nilayam premises in the temple town of Puttaparthi.
Lan Carlo, aged 58 years, came to Puttaparthi on January 26 to have Darshan of Sri Sai Baba and was staying in room of Prashanti Nilayam. He happens to be a donor to the Trust and has the permission to stay till February 28, 2007.
When foul smell started coming up from his room, the Seva Dal volunteers alerted the police who broke open the room and found him dead. His body was sent to postmortem. According to sources, he was dead four days back. The reasons for his death are yet to be established.
