The Official of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday arrested the postal inspector of Cheepurupalli N. Umamaheswara Rao and another two employees N. Appala Naidu and P. Sankara Rao while they were receiving Rs. 7000 as bribe from one S. Ramesh of Chintalavalsa. Ramesh was appointed as the branch postmaster of Gollalamulagam village but the postal Inspector insisted him to pay bribe to issue the posting orders. He lodged a complaint with the CBI and laid a trap and arrests were made.
