Court gives permission to the officials for searches
Hyderabad, February 24, 2007
The Crime Investigation Department officials will resume searches of Margadarsi Financiers on Sunday following an interim order issued by the First Additional Metropolitan court on Saturday. The Sessions Judge, S. Anantasayana Prasad after issuing the order posted the case to Monday.
It may be noted that the officials of the CID have sealed the office of Margadarsi on February 21 and the court directed it to place the seized files in a box and keep it in a specified place in the office itself instead of taking them away.
The judge directed the CID officials to take the photocopies of the important documents and cheques relating to payment to depositors due in the next 10 days to enable Margadarsi to return the money due to the depositors. The judge also directed the officials that four other offices including Ramoji Film City division could function as usual and ordered opening their locks.
