Charges Chief Minister for misleading people

The Telugu Desam (TDP) Politburo member P. Ashok Gajapati Raju and party general secretary K. Kala Venkata Rao on Friday condemned the crackdown on the freedom of press by the State Government.
Speaking to media, they said that the Government was trying to gag the press freedom to shield the vested interests. They demanded immediate resignation of the Chief Minister accusing him of taking up cudgels against the Forth Estate and misleading the people and the Opposition in the Assembly.
They charged the act of the Government represents the undeclared emergency in the State. They said that the State Government was trying to suppress the facts by imposing restrictions on the media.
