Samajwadi Party suspends lone MLA

Hyderabad, February 20, 2007

Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA DK Aruna from Gadwal has been suspended from the party. On Tuesday, she received the information from the party leader Amar Singh who told that the party viewed with seriousness her pro-Congress stand in the Andhra Pradesh. Amar Singh also faxed a message to this effect to the Speaker KR Suresh Reddy.

She reacted over her suspension that Telugu Desam Party encouraged the SP leaders to suspend her. She said that she was happy to hear about the news and that she have been associated with the Congress all these years and will continue to do so in future also.
