Hyderabad, February 14, 2007

The State Government entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UK based Pilkington Automotive India Pvt.Ltd., for manufacturing glass and glazed products.

The MoU was signed in the presence of the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy by the Pilkington Automotive director Stephan Rosebroch and Commissioner of Industries S Bhattacharya.

The company will set up a unit at Atchutapuram in Visakhapatnam district with an investment of Rs. 675 crore and the project is expected to create employment to nearly 1500 people. The Minister for Major Industries J. Geetha Reddy was present on the occasion.
