Deputy Educational Office and four others in the scam arrested

The District Selection Committee (DSC-2006) in Kadapa district scam, the OMR sheet of the candidates who appeared for the DSC have been sent for forensic analysis following charges of tampering by some Educational Department officials and teachers to favour a select a few.
In a supplementary to a question on the DSC 2006 scan in the Assembly on Tuesday, the Minister for Education for School, N. Rajya Lakshmi informed that the Chief Minister had promptly ordered an inquiry. The Collector, in his report said that the OMR sheets of Secondary Grade Teachers (Telugu) candidates were tampered.
She further said that a Deputy Educational Officer and four teachers who were arrested and sent to judicial remand had confessed to their involvement in the tampering and collected huge amounts from the candidates.
