Hyderabad, February 12, 2007

The Andhra Pradesh Electronic Media Journalists' Association has demanded an inquiry by a senior police officer into the murder of Lakshmi Sujata, a newsreader with Teja news channel, in Vijayawada.

The president of the Association, Chandu Janardhan in a statement on Monday described the killing as 'inhuman'.
