Mystery shrouds around her murder

A newsreader of a popular Telugu TV Channel was found murdered in a hotel room in Governorpet.

According to police sources, the girl, B. Lakshmi Sujata hailed from Gudivada and was last seen in the company of a male in the hotel room on Friday afternoon. Finding the doors of the room shut all through the evening, the hotel boy broke them open yesterday morning, only to find out her in a pool of blood with her wrist slashed and 19 stab wounds besides.

Sujata who quit the channel job a few days ago had been to Gudivada for some time. Her mother accompanied her upto Vijayawada, thinking that the girl would proceed to Hyderabad as she was under the impression that she was working for the channel still. Later, in the afternoon, Sujata was in seen in the hotel room. It turns out that the same morning two men checked into the same hotel and took a room after factious names, addresses and phone numbers to the hotel manager. The victim apparently joined them instead of going to Hyderabad. The police said that they were yet to establish the motive for the murder.
