Congress cadres organized health camps on Sunday

Hyderabad, December 9, 2007

The Congress cadres on Sunday celebrated the 61st birthday of AICC president Sonia Gandhi. They organized health camps in the State Capital. The Finance Minister, K Rosaiah who was the chief guest at a programme organized by the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee at Gandhi Bhavan cut a cake to mark the occasion. He inaugurated the health camp.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi, the party has grown from strength to strength. More than 1,500 patients underwent free eye check up and 1,000 of them were provided spectacles free of cost.

The celebrations were attended by former PCC president P Narsa Reddy, and other leaders.
