APSRTC to observe Road Safety week from January 1

Vijayanagaram, December 31, 2007

The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will observe Road Safety week from January 1 promoting the slogan 'Drive Carefully-Avoid Rash Driving'. APSRTC East Coast Regional Manager, M Venkateswara Reddy speaking media said that the drivers with an accident free record in every depot will be awarded on the occasion.

He said that training classes on road safety will be conducted at the zonal office besides educating the people on the same at all bus complexes in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts. He said slides on safety driving will be screened in all cinema theaters.
