CGG to sign MoU with Bhutan Government

Reforms in the area of e-Governance an Urban Reforms

Hyderabad, August 7, 2007

At the annual General meeting of the Centre for Good Governance Board that was chaired by the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy on Tuesday said that it will enter into an MoU with Government of Bhutan in the areas of e-Governance and Urban Reforms. The CGG is likely to have similar arrangements with other SAARC countries.

The Chief Minister asked the CGG officials to formulate a comprehensive training policy along with Dr MCR HRD Institute for the State as a regular and sustained training programme was need of the hour for the administration.

It may be noted that the CGG has emerged as an institute of excellence for Action Research and Change Management and executed several projects for other States, the World Bank, BFID, UNDP and other international organizations. The Minister for Major Industries J Geetha Reddy and top officials were present according to a press release.
