The Elections for the Singareni Recognized Union are getting attention with top political parties coming and campaigning in the region.

The first amongst such politicians is the Chief of Telangana Rashtra Parishad K Chandrasekhara Rao who, on Sunday, toured the coal mines areas in Mancherial and Bellampalli areas addressing road shows and public meetings in view of the upcoming elections to the Singareni recognized union.

He addressed in support of the Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham at Goleti, Madaram, Bellampalli, Mandamarri, Ramakrishnapur apart from adressing a public meeting at Pragati Stadium in Srirampur. He charged the Telugu Desam Party-led Government for retrenching 40,000 employees and also criticized the ruling government for making moves to private the Singareni mines.
