151 applications received in Vizianagaram district

The second phase of Kalyanamastu to be organized by the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) in the district on August 28 received 151 applications out of 720 applications sold so far. According to the official sources, the aspiring couples should submit a copy of ration card, election registration card and birth certificates along with their applications.
The district administration is busy in making arrangements to conduct the mass marriages programme at various temples of all constituencies in the district. The District Revenue Officer, PA Sobha said that the officials were publicizing the event through slide shows at cine theaters, posters and pamphlets and authorities are expecting 300 couples to tie the knot from the district.
