Speaks at 'Youth for Peace' programme at Ravindra Bharathi

Hyderabad, August 27, 2007

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy addressing a 'Youth for Peace' programme organized by the AP Youth Congress at Ravindra Bharathi on Monday said that top priority will be accorded to maintenance of law and order in the State.

He said the Government would take the recent twin-bomb blasts as a challenge and strengthen the security across the State. He added that the Police Department would be equipped with the required number of men and quantity of material in addition to training.

The blasts that took place in Hyderabad recently were the result of conspiracy of international terrorist network, he said. Police will be given a free hand to deal with terrorists, he said at the programme.
