TV Studio to come up at Chief Minister camp Office

Project to come up in 3 months at an estimated cost is Rs.1.13 crore

Hyderabad, August 24, 2007

The State Government is constructing a television studio in the camp office of the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy at a cost of Rs.1.13 crore. The project was given to a contractor on nomination basis for early completion of the studio which will have all the recording facilities spread over an area of 2500 sq.ft.

The work of the project has already started. The new construction is coming up in the first floor of the camp office and is expected to be ready within three months. According to reliable sources, the premises will have a conference hall of a couple of officials besides the studio. The studio will be equipped with state of art recording and on-line editing equipment.

CMO officials say that the ongoing 'My Chief Minister' program is being telecasted by a private television once in a week is being shot in the camp office. The messages of the Chief Minister on important occasions and about important government programmes are also being recorded at the temporary studio but the broadcast quality is not up to the mark. Apart from this, a permanent studio would minimize the movement of the Chief Minister in view of threat to his life.
