Hyderabad, August 12, 2007

The Andhra Bank's Hyderabad Zone on Saturday launched Andhra Bank Celebrations, a 43 day long programme that is meant to reach a wider cross section of people and enlighten them on the range of bank's services.

At a press conference to mark the launch of the programme, General Manager of Hyderabad Zone, B Raj Kumar said that the zone was the most important in the bank's operations. He said that it covered Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medak districts with 319 delivery outlets, comprising of 141 branches, 14 extension counters along with 164 ATMs.

The Bank had a total business of Rs.11,300 crore, including Rs.7,400 core deposits and Rs.3,900 crore of advances.
