Financial problems believed to be the reason

Kurnool, April 9, 2007

A farmer belonging to the BVNagar of Gospadu mandal in the district of Kurnool took the extreme step of ending his life. L Madhusudhana Rao is believed to have committed suicide because of financial difficulties.

Failure of crop and the inability of farmers to manage to pay the loans taken from private financial arms have been believed to be the main reason for farmer suicides in the region.
