SSC Spot Valuation continues to be in trouble
Hyderabad, April 9, 2007The spot valuation of the Andhra Pradedh SSC Examinations continued to be in trouble with teacher unions not attending the valuation duties. Teacher union members were found raising slogans outside the valuation centres at almost all parts of the state where examination paper valuation is scheduled.
The Government could only manage few teachers, mostly retired teachers who are out of their experience now or teachers from private colleges and the little or no experienced Education volunteers to take up the examination paper valuation works. Even this has to happen amidst tight police security.
Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh Affiliated Colleges Teachers Association announced that they will support the teachers union who are boycotting the SSC valuation. The Teachers Association demanded the withdrawal of cases on teachers and asked for an immediate release of them.
