Nellore, April 6, 2007

Union Minister for Tourism and Culture Ambika Soni is in Andhra Pradesh on a 2-day visit. She attended various Government programs in Hyderabad. Mrs Soni said that a decision on the classical language status for telugu language will be decided soon.

She also interacted with the weaver community in Nellore and addressed a gathering at the Pochampally Rural Tourism Project Amphi-theater. Ambika Soni said that she will make arrangements for faster sale of the fabric weaved at Pochampally. She also promised quick sale of the Rs. 2.5 crore worth of fabric that is unsold for three years now.
