The Hyderabad police today arrested two persons and seized fake currency worth over Rs.36 lakhs. The arrested persons are Mohammed Shoukat Ali of Maida district in West Bengal and KV Satyanaryana Reddy of East Godavari district in the Andhra Pradesh.

Hyderabad, April 6, 2007

In what is considered as a major reshuffling of senior IAS officers, the State Government has announced Ramanachary as the new TTD EO. CVSK Sarma is posted as the new Chief Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad. Ajeya Kallam will be the Principal Secretary, Agriculture.

Sunil Sharma will be the new Director of Municipal Administration and Mr R. Subrahmanyam will be MD State Housing Corporation.
