Leaders detained
Hyderabad, April 4, 2007Leaders of major political parties were detained for stopping trains at railway stations. Leader of Telugu Desam Party T. Devender Goud, Secretary of CPI K. Narayana and President of BC Welfare Association R. Krishnaiah were detained at the Secunderabad Railway Station for stopping AP Express. AP Express is a New Delhi bound train.
Similarly, TRS President K. Chandrasekhara Rao was detained for stopping Golconda Express while the party senior leader A. Narendra was arrested for stopping East Coast Express at Nampally. BJP President Bandaru Dattatreya and others was arrested for bringing traffic to a halt at Abids.
