Nellore, April 4, 2007

In what is considered to be a sensational operation, the Nellore Urban Police have arrested a 5-member gang which includes a main supplier and few agents. The police managed to arrest 5 members while others managed to make away in a car.

The police acted instantly, thanks to the recent intelligence reports that the region is a hub for some narcotic transactions. The seized power packed in plastic bags was sent for lab testing to confirm if it is indeed brown sugar. A case under the Narcotic Act 1985 was filed.
